Drake's performance at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 20 is reportedly going to be incredibly memorable, according to statements made by the program's executive producerto Billboard. Drake is nominated for 22 Billboard awards, tied with The Chainsmokers.
"We were talking with Drake's people for months about doing the show," Mark Bracco told Billboard. "Obviously he then became the biggest nominee and that's a big deal and just trying to come up with something really different and unique and exciting and spectacular... And that's what Drake deserves is a big, huge moment and, luckily, in working with his team I think we've come up with something creatively that's going to be really astounding."
The awards show will feature 16 performances in total, including an opening performance by Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne. There has been speculation that Drake, Nicki and Wayne could perform their song "No Fraud," but at this time, that is mostly just the hope of fans, and there is been no confirmation of whether Drake will take the stage with Nicki yet.
