Watch the finale, hosted by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and musical guest Katy Perry.
Tonight's season finale of SNL is going to be a big one. Not only is the musical guest Katy Perry, whose album is due out next month, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is hosting and joining as a member of the Five Timers Club, but it will also be the final show for cast members Vanessa Bayer and Bobby Moynihan. Bayer's departure was confirmed by Deadline on Saturday morning. Moynihan has been on the show for nine seasons, beaten only by Kenan Thompson for longest stay on the show. Bayer has been on the show for seven seasons, making her the most veteran female cast member currently on the show.
Both cast members are known for recurring on characters, with Moynihan playing Snooki, Drunk Uncle and more recently, New York Times reporter Glenn Thrush. Bayer was known for her impression of Miley Cyrus, Rachel from Friends, and Jacob, the young jewish boy giving a speech on Weekend Update.
