Frank Ocean Cancels His Set At Primavera Sound Festival
The singer had to cancel due to “production delays beyond his control.”
Frank Ocean's headlining set at Barcelona's Primavera Sound music festival has been cancelled, according to a notice released by the festival organizers on Saturday via Twitter. Ocean's Friday June 2 set had to be cancelled due to "production delays beyond his control," the festival said. "The artist has apologised and has reiterated his wish to come to Barcelona soon."
On Monday, Jamie xx was added to the Primavera Sound lineup and is scheduled to perform on Friday, June 2 at the Parc del Fòrum.
This news comes after Ocean cancelled his sets for Sasquatch! Festival and Hangout Music Fest earlier this month, both also due to "production delays beyond his control." Ocean is currently still scheduled to make several appearances at festivals around the world this summer, including London's Lovebox Festival and New York's Panorama Festival.
Primavera festival is offering refunds for Friday June 2 day tickets, which people can apply for here.
