Watch David Firth’s New Short Cream, Featuring Flying Lotus
The Salad Fingers creator returns to tell the story of a scientist who creates a cream able to fix all of the world’s problems.
Flying Lotus provides the voice of a billionaire in a new short film from British animator and writer David Firth. Cream can be seen above.
According to an official blurb, the short film is "the story of Dr. Bellifer, a scientific genius, who after years of smashing particles together, reveals his revolutionary new product: a cream with the power to fix all of the world’s problems."
The short is released via Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder Films. As Pitchfork notes, Flying Lotus can be heard screaming, “Oh my God, it’s killing us!” around the 7:50 mark. He also voices the billionaire talking on the phone in his car.
Frith and Flying Lotus last worked together on new film Kuso, which is due to arrive in theaters later this year.
