Earlier this month Menace, who produced Desiigner's hit "Panda," suggested in an interview that both Future and producer Mike Dean had filed copyright infringement claims over the track.
This was promptly denied by both camps, though Dean conceded that he had initially filed a lawsuit before dropping it. In the same interview Menace also said that Kanye West, who sampled "Panda" on The Life Of Pablo, was “a funny one when it comes to paying people money.”
On Tuesday night Menace tweeted out an apology to Future, Kanye, and Mike Dean in which he called his claims "unfounded" and suggested his "professional integrity" had been compromised by his actions.
“I want to formally apologize to Mike Dean, Kanye, Future and their respective teams for releasing unfounded and sensitive information to the media that could have potentially affected their professional integrity,” he wrote. “They have always been an immense source of inspiration for me and they will always be extremely influential to my work and my development as a producer.”
