The spirit of Notorious B.I.G. is alive and well in Bed-Stuy, the rapper's Brooklyn neighborhood. On Wednesday, the Crispus Attucks Playground was officially renamed the Christopher “Biggie” Wallace Courts.
New York City councilman Robert Cornegy, who lived in the same building as the late rapper, was in attendance at the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Also in attendance were Biggie's mother Voletta Wallace and his children, Tyanna and C.J Wallace.
Last month, Diddy shared "Whatcha Gon' Do?" a new track featuring a verse from the late rapper. The rapper's son, C.J., has also stated his plans to release an album.
