Demi Lovato Is Named As New Global Citizen Health Ambassador

Demi Lovato has been named the new Global Citizen Health Ambassador. She will work with Iraqi children who have been displaced in the face of years long conflict within the country, including children who are dealing with psychological issues. She will work with Save The Children's HEART program which will provide basic education through the arts, as well as other wellness services.

"My hopes is that this program can bring a bit of comfort to those who need it most," Lovato wrote in a post to Twitter, which can be seen above. "This isn't about politics or race or religion, it's simply about humanity and protecting one another."
