SZA celebrates as Ctrl is certified gold

SZA has secured her first Gold album after debut record Ctrl passed the 500,000 sales mark. The TDE artist celebrated the news with her record label in New York. Sharing a picture (see below) with both her gold disc and a platinum one for single "Love Galore," she wrote: "Dis feel like really big jewelry ..THANK U FOR CHANGING MY LIFE IN WAYS I NEVER IMAGINED!"

The rest of the post read: "Thank each of you for connecting w this album and making me feel less lonely.. less inadequate. Thank u for Building this family with me .Thank u for a relationship I couldn't buy or explain ...Thanks for Giving this raggedy Ann sumn to smile about . I LOVE YOU."

SZA was in New York this week for a pop-up show in the city. In August she teased the possible release of a deluxe edition of Ctrl.
