Chance The Rapper continues to be a hometown hero. Early on Friday afternoon he announced via Twitter that he had bought tickets for Marshall, at two Chicago theaters. Marshall is a film about Thurgood Marshall, the first black Supreme Court Justice. Chance's earlier tweets announced a surprise, but there weren't any clear hints that the surprise would be an entire discussion panel with the cast of the film.
"The people's champ must be everything the people can't be." You are an inspiration, @chancetherapper Thanks for the love! #MarshallMovie ✌🏿 https://t.co/5gtfWPmLfk
