Earlier this month, pop singer Kailee Morgue's "Medusa" went from viral tweet to polished pop song. The video for the song, which The FADER is premiering today, is a dark affair. There's scary bathtubs and weird elastic sheets with disembodied hangs trying to poke through. It's spooky.
In an email to The FADER, Morgue explained how the clip came together. “For the ‘Medusa’ video I wanted to show the vulnerability and desperation that radiates in the music," she said. "A kaleidoscope, lonely bath tub, and of course green undertones to pay homage to the legendary Gorgon, Medusa herself. To express that emotion in my first music video was a challenge for me, but I couldn’t be happier at how it came out and hope the message comes across to my fans”
