Mick Jenkins has dropped a brand new project. The seven-track tape is the first in what Jenkins describes as a series involving "musical ideas and concepts" inspiring his next studio album.
Writing on Soundcloud, the Chicago rapper said of the project: "As creatives we live in a world of time constraints imposed by illusive industry standards, anxious demands of appreciators, or even our own self reflections."
Jenkins's last full-length project, The Healing Component, was released in September 2016. The album featured guests including BadBadNotGood, and Noname plus production from Kaytranada and THEMPeople.
