Kendrick Lamar performed the halftime show at tonight's College Football Playoff National Championship, which finds Alabama and Georgia facing off for the title of College Football Playoff National Championship Winner. On a stage lit up like a football, bundled up in gloves and a winter coat, the Grammy-nominee did "DNA.," "ELEMENT.," and "HUMBLE." before closing with his new song for Black Panther, "All the Stars." He then introduced a new trailer for the movie, whose soundtrack he's curating.
Donald Trump, who announced last week that he'd attend the game, reportedly left before Kendrick's performance, after fumbling the words to the National Anthem. Earlier, the president arrived to a mix of cheers and boos from the Southern crowd, including Alabama's Bo Scarbrough, who was filmed yelling "Fuck Trump" on the way out of the locker room (roll tide).
Also in Kendrick's audience, presumably ignoring the president, was Quavo. He's rooting for Georgia, which is fine.
