This Sure Sure song feels like early spring
“Giants” comes from their self-titled new album.
A coworker recently explained either pizza crusts or climate science in terms of the "burning point" of water. Which is one main thing I'm thinking about after hearing Sure Sure's "Giants," a sunny/sexy rock song out of L.A. that begins with the line "Don't let the water burn you baby." Sorry my memory only has so much room.
"Giants," which can be heard live at Brooklyn Steel on February 10, sounds a bit like Vampire Weekend's "Hannah Hunt" for a second, but I can't really picture the Ivy Leaguers singing "Don't get too smart with all those books." Or actually, didn't Adorno say the same thing?
