Last October, SZA confirmed she was working on an album with superproducer Mark Ronson and Kevin Parker of psych-pop band Tame Impala. In a profile for The New York Times, SZA revealed that the trio has finished recording three songs. One of those tracks could be the unreleased song Ronson and Parker played during last year's Governor's Ball, which featured vocals from SZA.
No release is set for the project, but the profile says that SZA has been inspired by her five Grammy nominations to create "more ambitious music." Read the full profile at The New York Times.
SZA will tour this year with her Top Dog Entertainment labelmates Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock, Ab-Soul, SiR, and Lance Skiiiwalker. Her debut album Ctrl was released in June 2017.
