Troye Sivan and Carly Rae Jepsen wrote a song together but we may never hear it

After hinting at a possible collaboration, Troye Sivan has confirmed that he and Carly Rae Jepsen wrote a song together. But there's tragedy here too: no one is going to hear said song, because it didn't make his upcoming album. The whole thing is putting fans through a lot.

"For this album, we wrote and it just never, like...sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't," he said on a recent episode of PopBuzz Podcast. "We wrote a really cute song...you end up writing 50 songs for an album when you wanna pick 10 so sometimes they just don't make it."
