Michelle Obama is releasing a memoir with Penguin at Random House. The story will detail her journey "from her childhood on the South Side of Chicago to her years as an executive balancing the demands of motherhood and work, to her time spent at the world’s most famous address," according to the website announcing her book.
"It has allowed me, for the very first time, the space to honestly reflect on the unexpected trajectory of my life," she said on Instagram about the book.
In her tenure as First Lady, Michelle Obama had high public approval ratings and responsible for initiatives like healthy eating and education. She was also the first African American First Lady. Her book is due to be released on November 13, 2018. It will be published in 23 languages.
