Earlier this week Janelle Monáe shared the beautiful and surreal video for new song "Pynk." It's a visual that sent fans wild, not least because actress Tessa Thompson pops up between a pair of Monáe's vagina trousers.
Chief among the fans who lost it watching the video was British actress, and Chewing Gum creator, Michaela Coel. Over a series of tweets she shared the lengths she has gone to follow Monáe's career, including flying herself and two friends to New York for a live show. The whole thread led to Monáe complimenting Coel back, a move that led her to "lose focus of my whole day."
