Janet Jackson has announced an open call for auditions from dancers, People reports.
The pop legend, along with creative director Gil Duldulao, will watch submissions from dancers on social media posted under the hashtag #DANCEWITHJANET. Videos can be shared through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Musical.ly, should be no more than 30 seconds long, and must feature either recreated Jackson choreography or a "freestyle to your favorite Janet song."
An announcement video posted on Instagram revealed that the lucky selected dancers will collaborate with Jackson on "some really cool upcoming projects." The open audition really is open, too: "All ethnicities, all sizes, you name it," the video says.
Speaking with People, current Jackson dancer Allison Buczkowski said working for the artist is a great experience. "She is a caring and genuine woman who creates a work environment that seems more like being around friends than work," Buczkowski said. "She is definitely one of the best artists I have ever worked for.”
