AzSwaye is taxing in his “Ride Ain’t Free” video

If you've ever owned a car, then you most definitely had at least one friend that tried to use you for said car without anything in the way of compensation. In his latest video for "Ride Ain't Free," which premieres on The FADER today, Los Angeles rapper AzSwaye addresses those who would try to trade "pocket lint OG" for a free ticket, using the analogy as a direct message to the hangers-on who are trying to ride his coattails to the top.
"I’ve endured many obstacles in my life and rap career, so, at this point, it feels like if anyone wants to be around me or the Cult, the ride ain't free,” AzSwaye told The FADER over email. The magnetic song is the first single from the rapper's upcoming SwayeForTheRecord collaborative project with producer JOOGFTR. Watch the new video above.
