Is Frank moving into the movie world?
Frank Ocean's IMDb page has been updated with a new acting role. The site lists Ocean as an actor in the forthcoming movie Ships Passing in the Night from director Michael Kang. The movie is currently in pre-production with Ocean listed as playing a character named Kevin.
A synopsis for the movie reads: "Brad Bang is one of the top male supermodels in the world. Grace Sol is a passionate but fragile actress. Despite their growing, troubled relationship, after a series of rehearsals and one fateful night, Grace falls for Brad, only to realize that despite needing each other, their love is forbidden."
Kang is a Korean-American director based in Los Angeles. His previous movies include West 32nd and his 2003 debut The Motel.
Earlier this year Ocean shared a cover of "Moon River" and interviewed Oscar nominee Timothee Chalamet.
The FADER has contacted Michael Kang and reps for Ocean for comment.
