Gorillaz are dropping a new album next month

There's been quite a bit of speculation regarding a new project from Gorillaz lately. Back in March, Damon Albarn told concert goers in Chile that an album was coming soon. Then, this weekend at All Points East festival, the band teased something big, with a number of cryptic posters and a website that plays a funky new snippet.

Now, it's official: Gorillaz's new album is titled The Now Now, and it's dropping June 29. The news was broke via Jamie Hewlett's wife Emma via Instagram story, Consequence of Sound reports. Details on the project are scant, but in the mean time, check out a recording of the band's new track with Snoop Dogg, "Hollywood."
