Jordan Peele signs Amazon TV deal
The partnership gives Amazon studios first-refusal rights to Peele’s TV series.
Jordan Peele has just linked up with Amazon Studios for a television deal, The New York Times reports. The Get Out director has reportedly been in talks with Amazon for some time, and now after signing, the streaming service, "essentially have the right of first refusal for any of Mr. Peele’s TV series."
Amazon has also recently committed to making the straight-to-series tv show The Hunt, which will be executive produced by Peele, as well as a docu-series about Lorena Bobbit. According to The Times, Peele's deal with Amazon is limited to televisions series, as the Oscar-winning director already has a first look deal for films with Universal.
