Earlier this week, Christine and the Queens officially announced their highly anticipated sophomore album, Chris, Speaking with Zane Lowe on their new persona, Héloïse Letissier said that "it had to be Chris at some point because I was bolder and stronger and had more muscle. At the same time, it’s me announcing to myself that I’m about to become that… It’s very much you allowing yourself to be even more.”
In anticipation of the new record, they've shared the second single, an infectiously sticky cut called "Doesn't Matter" that questions faith and power dynamics over a meaty bass line.
