London group Jungle have announced details of their second album. For Ever will be released on September 14 via XL Recordings. Two new songs from the album, "Cherry" and "Heavy, California," are streaming below.
A press release states that Jungle originally moved from their homes in west London to Hollywood to write and record their new album. However, " the feeling of being adrift on the West Coast compounded by the collapse of long-term relationships" saw them head home to create a "post-apocalyptic radio station playing break up songs.”
Jungle's first album was released in 2014 and was nominated for that year's Mercury Prize. Earlier this year they shared two more For Ever tracks: "Happy Man" and "House In L.A." In addition to the album news, Jungle hav also confirmed details of a world tour. See dates here.
