Kid Fury is developing a comedy for HBO

Kid Fury will be developing a comedy series for HBO, Variety reports. The series will reportedly be a "surreal dark comedy" centered around a 20-something year old gay, black man living through adulthood in New York City while battling an undiagnosed clinical depression.

Lena Waithe is among the show's executive producers; the show's episodes will run a half hour and does not yet have a title. Fury will write and co-executive produce the series.
