Detroit has always been a slept-on rap powerhouse but, over the past half-decade, the underground scene in the city has exploded, birthing national stars and local heroes alike. BandGang was at the forefront of Detroit's most recent renaissance, picking up the collective blueprint left behind by groups like Street Lord'z and Doughboyz Cashout.
In recent years, the group has mostly focused on solo endeavors, but Masoe, Lonnie Bands, and Paid Will return today with a brand new project entitled In Too Deep. Over the course of the 30-song project, the three rappers showcase their electric chemistry, recruiting features from SOB X RBE, Philthy Rich, ShredGang Mone, and others along the way. "We found inspiration from each other and inspired each other," Masoe told The FADER. "It's special because it's just the three of us and we put our all into it."
