Travis Scott made his return to Beats 1 radio on Friday, playing a special two-hour episode of .wav radio show with Chase B to commemorate the release of his third studio album Astroworld.
Travis and Chase B ran through different Astroworld tracks while also premiering three unreleased tracks during the set. La Flame dropped an exclusive solo-track titled "Part Time" before sharing "Zoom" featuring Gunna, and "Houdini" with Playboi Carti. Scott also premiered a track titled "Death Row" from up-and-comer Ashton Travis.
In between songs, the Houston native touched on influences that helped shape the album, collaborating with Justin Vernon, James Blake, Tame Impala's Kevin Parker, and offered up an apology to fans for delaying the album for so long after announcing it back in 2016. Scott also spoke on the album's younger contributors — singing words of praise to Sheck Wes, Don Toliver, and Gunna.
.wav radio is available on Apple Music here.
