Lakeith Stanfield and Tune-Yards link up for new song “Mango”

A major component of the warped, surreal cinematic universe of Boots Riley's new film Sorry To Bother You is the zonky score courtesy of Tune-Yards. That collaboration, in turn, has birthed another one: a new single from the band in collaboration with Lakeith Stanfield's musical project MOORS.

“We met at the Sundance premiere, and Lakeith was really into the score so we talked about collaborating,” says frontperson Merrill Garbus. The resulting track is "Mango," and you can watch its intensely animated Ruff Mercy-directed video above.
