Cardi B thanks fans at the VMAs: “That’s something money can’t buy, bitch”

After opening the 2018 MTV VMAs with the pump fake of the night, Cardi B won the award for Best New Artist at the event, beating out Hayley Kiyoko for the honor. Millie Bobby Brown presented Cardi with the award, and she then addressed the crowd and the audience at home: “All the love that my fans, that my friends, that everybody shows me. It’s genuine, it’s beautiful, and that’s something that god gives me that money can’t buy, bitch." Watch the moment below.
