Beyonce and Jay Z are helping a few high school students pay to continue their education. The couple will award more than $1 million dollars worth of scholarships to "exceptional" high school seniors.

One student will be selected in Atlanta, Orlando, Miami, Arlington, New Orleans, Houston, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Clara and Seattle, all cities where the Carters are scheduled to perform during their On the Run II tour.

According to a press release, "qualified students must demonstrate academic excellence and show financial needs that would make it hard for them to enter a college or university for the academic year 2018-2019."

The Boys and Girls Club will select the recipients in each city.

Both Beyonce and Jay Z have awarded scholarships to students previously, with Beyonce announcing a Homecoming Scholars Program, awarding a student from four HBCUs (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) with $25,000 scholarships, earlier this year.
