Watch N.E.R.D. perform with Brockhampton at Reading Festival
Pharrell gave a shout out to his “little brothers” at the U.K. event.
Both N.E.R.D. and Brockhampton were on the bill at Reading Festival this past weekend, with Pharrell inviting the group on stage with him at the U.K. event. Brockhampton joined N.E.R.D. to dance to "Lemon" alongside the group's backing dancers and generally have a good time on the festival's main stage. As they left the stage Pharrell gave a shout out to the group, saying: “make some noise for our little brothers.” You can see footage of the performance above.
Earlier in the day Brockhampton played a set at the festival featuring material from their three Saturation albums plus recent singles "1999 Wildifre" and "1998 Truman."
Kendrick Lamar headlined Reading on the same day, topping a bill that also included Dua Lipa, Rex Orange County, Wizkid, and Playboi Carti. Lamar's set was pulled mainly from Damn. including opening tracks "DNA," "Element," and "Yah." The Compton rapper also dived into his back catalog during the hour-long set to play "King Kunta," "Alright," and "Backseat Freestyle."
