While visiting Ellen on Tuesday, Nicki Minaj reiterated some of her frustrations over her latest album Queen finishing behind Travis Scott's Astroworld in sales during the first week of the project's release, Complex points out.
Minaj, who initially spoke on finishing behind Scott via Twitter, told host Ellen Degeneres that while venting frustrations shouldn't equate to being upset, landing at number two behind Scott did make her feel like punching him in the face.
"I felt like I wanted to punch him in his fucking face," Minaj said. The Queens rapper went on to cite Scott's tour merch and passes that accompanied the album as reasons why he landed ahead of her in sales.
Elsewhere in the interview, Nicki also touched on her past relationship with Meek Mill, calling it toxic. “I was in a relationship with Meek for a while, which ended and it was a very toxic something," Minaj said.
