The end of Labor Day weekend usually symbolizes the last days of summer. But on the West Coast, the hottest days almost always come in the last month of the season, even as the days get shorter. Venice Beach rap crew Warm Brew's latest song, "Psychedelic," feels tailor-made for the dry heat of late summer. The video, which premieres on The FADER today, finds the three rappers going on a wild trip, though they never leave the house.
"With this video, with this song, and in the grander scheme, this life, we sought after the answer to the unanswerable question: LSD or Shrooms?” Warm Brew's Serk told The FADER. Manu Li added: “Sharing crazy time with your homies or lady friend, tripping on art or music, or just chilling finding peace of mind or truth are the most useful ways we use psychedelics. This video shows you that in an almost subtle way. Our way of giving you shroom, but not the whole bag.” Watch the new video for "Psychedelic" above.
