A film based on the life of ODB (real name Russell Tyrone Jones) has been rumored for years. The Wire's Michael K. Williams was attached to play the rapper in Dirty White Boy, though the film never made it past development. In 2016, RZA said a film was more likely thanks to the success of Straight Outta Compton, and that his cousin Rayshawn had a very promising script.
