Over the weekend, Issa Rae threw a yacht party in Southern California to celebrate the record number of nominees of color at this year's Emmy awards, as Complex points out. In attendance was most of HBO's Insecure cast, along with a flurry of notable black actors, actresses, and writers including Tracy Ellis Ross, Jidenna, Tiffany Haddish, Lil Rel Howrey, and more.
In the past, Issa has thrown the party β aptly named #YachtShit β to celebrate the end of seasons one and two of Insecure.
