Lil Yachty announced on Tuesday that a sequel to early-2000s stoner comedy flick How High is in the works, and that he will star as the film's lead role. In a video posted to YouTube, Yachty shared the news, saying that the long-awaited sequel began shooting on Tuesday in Atlanta. According to a statement from MTV, "Lil Yachty plays 'Roger,' an entrepreneur and the younger brother of one of the protagonists from the original film."
How High 2 will be produced by MTV and Universal 1440 Entertainment, and will premiere via MTV next year. Yachty, and Quality Control's Kevin “Coach K” Lee, and Pierre “Pee” Thomas will be credited as executive producers.
