1TakeJay, Rucci, and AzChike deliver all-star posse cut “Tax Season”

It's safe to say L.A. is in the middle of another rap renaissance right now and, though 03 Greedo and Drakeo The Ruler are currently locked up, the city's current roster is extremely deep. Compton's 1TakeJay and Inglewood's Rucci are two of L.A.'s most exciting rappers at the moment, capturing the raw energy of their respective neighborhoods on tracks like "Arco" and "Like Woah."

"Tax Season," which premieres on The FADER today, is the first single from their upcoming collab tape, The Winning Team. The song features fellow rising star AzChike and it's an all gas, no hook affair. "We was in the [studio] till 1 a.m. and said, "Fuck it let's go back to back on some shit," 1TakeJay explains.
