Mick Jenkins links with Kaytranada on new single “Understood”

Mick Jenkins is back with a new single. "Understood" finds the Chicago rapper laying down the law over some blissed out production courtesy of Kaytranada. Jenkins teased on Twitter that him and Kaytra will eventually release an entire project together, but in the meantime, he's got a whole new solo record on the way.

Pieces of a Man, the follow-up to Jenkins' 2017 album The Healing Component, will drop on October 26 via Cinematic Music Group. Peep its shattered mirror cover art here, and then watch the community centric "Understood" video, directed by Nick Walker, below.
