Meek Mill has long been a vocal proponent of criminal justice reform and will team up with Kim Kardashian next month to speak at the inaugural Criminal Justice Reform Summit in Los Angeles. The pair will be among panelists discussing mass incarceration, wrongful convictions and more. The event, hosted by CNN's Van Jones, will presented by Variety and Rolling Stone.
Meek has spoken at length many times about his thoughts and ideas surrounding criminal justice reform, particularly following his own release from prison; while Kardashian West has become an unlikely voice in efforts as well, having convinced President Trump to pardon and commute the life sentence of Alice Marie Johnson earlier this year.
The summit, which will take place at the Jeremy West Hotel in West Hollywood on November 14, will also feature Fab 5 Freddy, Philadelphia 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin, and Get Out actress Allison Williams as panelists.
