Ariana Grande opens up about her anxiety in upcoming BBC Music special
“Talk to your loved ones, reach out to people, especially your friends online.”
Ariana Grande is opening up about the importance of mental health once again.
In an upcoming pre-recorded BBC Music special, Grande spoke to host Davina McCall about her experience in dealing with anxiety and how it sometimes makes her feel "guilty."
“I almost feel guilty that I have it [anxiety] because it’s just in your head and it’s just so crazy how powerful it is," she said, according to Buzzfeed. “You have ups and downs and sometimes you’ll go weeks at a time where you will be crushing it and there will be no anxiety... and then something will happen that can trigger it and then you have a couple of down days.”
She added that while dealing with anxiety can feel overwhelming, it's important to remember that "everybody has this."
"Talk to your loved ones, reach out to people, especially your friends online," she continued. "Reach out to each other.”
Ariana Grande at the BBC airs on November 1. In the meantime, you can watch a stellar clip of her performance of "God Is A Woman," above.
