The Weeknd played a one-off date to celebrate the launch of Toronto's Hxouse, a "creative agency and incubator space for the arts," on Tuesday night. Speaking to fans from the stage during his set, Abel Tesfaye said he was busy working on his next album and that he hopes to release it "soon."
Earlier this year The Weeknd put out My Dear Melancholy, an EP and follow-up to 2016 album Starboy. Speaking on Tuesday night he said. “I wanna let you guys know, being in Toronto these past two days… I haven’t been this inspired in years, I got to tell you, Chapter 6 coming soon, let’s get it!” Check out a clip of the moment below.

Since releasing My Dear Melancholy The Weeknd has celebrated the 5-year anniversary of his 2013 album Kissland and faced a lawsuit over Daft Punk-collaboration "Starboy."
