The 1975 were the guests on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge on Monday. Appearing in the week of the release of new album A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships, the band performed new songs "It's Not Living (If It's Not With You)" and "Sincerity Is Scary," alongside a special cover, Ariana Grande's much-memed "thank u, next."
Speaking about his decision to cover "thank u, next," Matty Healy of The 1975 said: "I wanna dedicate it to the artist of the song [Grande] who has become the main protagonist in most people's live. She's the female I see most spoken about and someone I've come to really care about for some reason. She's had a right old tough time and I like her. I think she's cool and she's got a great voice."
