Shy FX and Lily Allen’s “Roll The Dice” video will make you want to go out tonight

Shy FX's new tune "Roll The Dice" bottles the excitement and spark of finding love in the club. The murky drum 'n' bass sound rumbles underneath as guest vocalists Lily Allen and Stamina MC offer opposing takes on locking eyes with someone across the smoking area. Both come together in unison, however, with the underlying message of "If things go nice then we could be in love."
The "Roll The Dice" video, premiering above, was filmed at London club Omeara during one of Shy FX's recent Cult.ure club nights. It's a smiley and sweaty vibe where the focus is on dancing, hanging out, and maybe just getting that cute person's number.
Speaking to The FADER, Shy FX said of "Rolle The Dice," “It’s a balance having Lily and Stamina MC together on a track. I got Stamina to record first and then I need someone who’s a little bit cheeky, who’s better than Lily? She came and performed it at my Cult.ure night and smashed it.”
‘Roll The Dice’ is lifted from Shy FX’s forthcoming project, Raggamuffin SoundTape, due for release in spring 2019.
