Melbourne-based musician Mark Zito a.k.a. Fractures has released a soft and subtle take on Benny Blanco, Halsey, and Khalid's summertime love song "Eastside." Listen to it up above via The FADER.
Over a wispy guitar melody coupled with a warm synth line, and a tingly percussion, Zito delivers the track's love-tinged lyrics with a soft yet earnest tone.
“I’m not a person who typically seeks out new music, or any music for that matter. I tend to let it come to me and that can take months but by whatever means I found myself getting lost in Khalid’s work, Fractures tells The FADER. "To redesign someone else’s work, work with which you already have a great appreciation, is always a risky prospect so I can only hope I did it justice but I know I’m happy with it and thankful the song exists."
Earlier this fall, Fractures made his FADER Label debut, releasing the ethereal single "Sculptures".
