Juelz Santana of Dipset has been sentenced to two years in prison, TMZ reports. The rapper faced charges stemming from an incident in March when he fled Newark international Airport after a loaded .38 caliber gun was found in his luggage.
Santana was reportedly sentenced to 27 months after pleading guilty to "unlawful weapon possession" and “possession of a controlled dangerous substance” after nonprescription Oxycodone pills were also discovered in his luggage. Santana will reportedly face "supervised release" for one year following his release from prison.
The FADER has reached out to Juelz Santana's representative for comment. Santana and Dipset released their latest album Diplomatic Ties in November.
