Netflix confirms To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before sequel
A follow-up to the smash 2018 rom-com is coming.
Netflix has officially ordered a follow-up to its hit romantic comedy To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. The first movie debut on the streaming service in August, making instant stars of lead actors Lana Condor and Noah Centineo.
Rumors of a sequel have been in the air ever since To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before arrived on Netflix but the plan was made official on Wednesday. A video announcement can be seen above in which it is confirmed the next movie will be “based on the popular YA To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy” by author Jenny Han. A release date for the film remains TBC.
Netflix has enjoyed huge success with rom-coms in 2018. In addition to To All The Boys... the streaming platform has also earned plaudits for Set It Up, Sierra Burgess Is A Loser, and The Kissing Booth. The latter of those three is also at the center of gossip about a potential sequel.
