21 Savage's latest release has helped him secure his first no. 1 on the BIllboard 200.
I Am > I Was debuted at no. 1 on the chart with 131,000 equivalent album units, 18,000 of which were traditional album sales. Savage's debut studio album, Issa Album, debuted on the chart at no. 2 in 2017.
Although they aren't credited on the project, the album features Childish Gambino, Schoolboy Q, City Girls, J. Cole, Post Malone, Gunna, Lil Baby, Young Nudy and Offset.
On this week's chart, Savage's album is followed by A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie's Hoodie SZN. Boogie's first no. 1 on the chart earned 90,000 equivalent album units, 6,000 which were traditional album sales.
