Lana Del Rey finishes work on next album, says new song out next week

Lana Del Rey has confirmed that she has completed recording her fifth studio album, titled Norman Fucking Rockwell, and will release a new song on January 9. A preview of "Hope Is A Dangerous Thing For A Woman Like Me To Have - But I Have It" can be heard in the video clip below.

In addition to the new music news, Del Rey also told her Instagram followers that she plans to publish a book of poetry in 2019 and that she will be cancelling a number of live dates in the coming weeks. The FADER has reached out for further details.

Del Rey was recording Norman Fucking Rockwell with producer Jack Antonoff. She released two tracks in 2018: "Venice Bitch” and “Mariners Apartment Complex.”
