Coachella released its 2019 lineup on Thursday, and one of the festival's most curious additions was an act called "Gucci Gang," performing on Sunday April 14 and 24. Some speculated that the name could be a new rap ensemble formed by Lil Pump, who broke through in 2017 with the song "Gucci Gang." According to TMZ, "Gucci Gang" is a new rap group consisting of Pump, Gucci Mane, and Smokepurrp, and it will make its debut at Coachella.
It was initially believed Coachella had made a typo when a picture of Gucci Mane was listed on the festival's website's page for "Gucci Gang."
Gucci Mane released his new album Evil Genius in December. Lil Pump recently apologized for using anti-Asian racial slurs and gestures on Instagram.
