Grimes shares new song snippet on Twitter

Early Thursday morning, Grimes tweeted a self-recorded Photobooth video containing a snippet of new music. See it above. The one-minute sample doesn't have the crunchy nu-metal vibes of her latest single "We Appreciate Power," opting instead for brooding drones and her idiosyncratic vocal runs over pop drums. Responding to tweets from fans, Grimes called the song a "ballad" that would be appearing on her upcoming album. Read the lyrics below:
